RETAIL THERAPY.....

....is not for me lol. Finally get to see minah and ar gal today!!~ Haha my 2 consultants accompanied me to orchard to shop!! Initially wanted to use the vouchers but didnt so my pocket has a big big hole now :(
Well you see, i simply have no clothes to wear, most of the bottoms are too loose, tops still can but bottoms really CMI. So i need to have a wardrobe makeover. Yup. I am still in the midst of packing it but it's not an easy task so it'll probably take a few days. Afterwards then i will also have to start packing my room! Haiz. I did my To-Do and Shopping lists yesterday and they're super long!~

Just today i have spent over $ 250 in one day!!!!!! This is so unlike me to spend all on clothing! But i can safely say that the things i buy are mostly all on sale and are worth the bargain.

You know these days i keep hearing pple commenting on how i look and i treat them as compliments and really appreciate all of them. Just that perhaps not many pple know that actually i do have a little inferiority complex in terms of my looks especially my weight. Well i have had it since pri sch. And it really is a big big thing to me when i am no longer what i used to be. It takes time for me to adapt to the way i look,my hair, my new appearance and the way i dress. Frankly, most of the clothes i tried with the girls today are those i would have never thought i would buy ever. Yup be surprised. I'm actually very conservative in terms of dressing though i'm open-minded to a lot of things. People who know me will understand what i mean. So ya this adaptation is really not easy, and the self-confidence thingy also requires time to build up i guess.

Well that said, i still need to go shopping cuz i have many things to buy, but i'll have to restrict my budget and be patient until i get my next pay :)

We were given 1 week to prepare for tml's paper, the very last one. Besides studying at home, watching television, going online and gg k with my cousins, i realised that i have been thinking quite a lot. Not about the exams, not about school stuff, but more about myself, my plans, the people around me as well as things that had happened/ was happening around the world. Weird huh, when i was suppose to focus on my revision. But i just cannot help it. While all of us are worrying and complaining about our miserable lives and stressing over the upcoming examinations, many others are suffering a fate worse than ours. I was really troubled when i read about the recent school attack, the space centre episode and of course some trouble over in japan. Then i began to wonder and it seems that our 'problems' seemed so less significant as compared to what was happening outside. We really should feel grateful for being able to go to school peacefully everyday, to study and be stress over things such as academic results and exams instead of worrying about the next meal or whether we will be in danger when going to the supermarket or fretting about not having a roof over our heads.

I remember watching the Chn U show hosted by Belinda. In the show she travelled to many countries looking for fellow singaporeans who migrated overseas. I think it was either the 1st or 2nd episode that i watched about 3 people who quit their high paying jobs and went to Peru to provide education and learning opportunities to the children who are living in poverty over there. And as surprised as she was, i saw many of the children about 5 or 6 years old all working diligently by carrying bricks, stones , sand to the construction site. This is because they are building a shelter, a place for themselves to live, work and play, so all of them contributed their own parts and are very eager to complete the construction. So i feel that what these 3 people are doing is certainly very meaningful as they had given these children hope and purpose in their lives.

It will really be great to be able to contribute something to help others in need, instead of thinking about ourselves all the time.

Oh well just some thoughts.

Back to studying and facing my 'problem' :)

Feeling distracted so came online to update blog haha.

Chanced upon her MV 'Ordinary Day' on tv a few days ago and i was elated!~ I used to listen to the songs by The Cranberries and really love the band a lot. Later on after the release of the greatest hits compilation Stars, there wasnt much news about them. BUT now the lead singer Dolores O'Riordan has released her solo ablum!!! Yay! I loved her vocals and she is still so pretty :)

Must really keep a notebook on wat time i slp ever since came here. Today was 630am. Still not a record breaker. But still didnt manage to finish in time!! Pia cab down realised that i wasnt the only one late. But the point is NO MORE ALREADY FOR NOW!!!!!!!!! haha

1 last paper for next week and its the hols!!!!!!!!!!!!! WWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Book me quick!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think i did well for yesterdays papers. Not going to think about them though. Must be optimistic and look forward to the upcoming ones. 2 more papers + 1 more assignment to go!!! haha Actually i am already mapping out my schedule for the holidays before i go for my practicum. Hee. I really want to continue my jap class, but i have to sit for a test first then if pass can go on to the next level. But this time no one will be taking with me. haiz. So still considering. Well many things to be done after the exams. Shall make a list soon haha.

Presentations are all finally OVER! Super busy today. Can't even stop for lunch! Phew. But ya its all over so that's all that matters hahaha. Moved some stuff home today. Thanks for eunice and gas's help hahaha.

Have shifted Cookie back to his home. Haha. He is super tired today after so many pple have taken photos and videos of him and being cuddled the whole day hahaha.

Oh was chatting with Elephant yesterday and we really wana go japan! haha suddenly feel like taking up the language again. Haha but must see the schedule how haiz.

Oh well mon got 2 exams! Must jiayou these few days!!!!!!!!!

Completed 2 dramas in one weekend!!!!!! A pillow case of mystery and which star are you from! hee Two fantastic shows. This post shall be dedicated to Which star are you from? Because this show, like Chun Hyang, is very humourous and also extremely sweet. It's unlike some other korean dramas that are soapy and draggy. And i love the music in the show!!! I am trying to find the OST and if anyone has any idea how to find the songs please inform me! Am in love with the 2 leads Kim Rae Won and Jung Ryeo Won, cutest couple ever ! Enjoy!
