Rotted and slacked at home yesterday. The good thing was that i finally had my well-deserved rest after an exhausting week. Sleeping till 11 am is indeed a luxury to me already, because i have to wake up at 6am everyday on weekdays :S The bad thing was that i was not in the mood to do work. But i did not get a chance to go out too. None of my friends were free, as everyone was also busy with their stuff, and poor Mr Dimples had to go to school for his project. He reached home at almost 12 midnight for 2 consecutive days. He had to go to school today too. Poor dear was so exhausted and stressed these days, i also very 心疼. So i spent a super sianz sat at home doing misc stuff.
It's pretty ironic, because for me, it's only during the weekends that i can relax a bit. Yet, when i was given the opportunity to rest, i wanted to work or go out to do something, instead of resting at home. Think the non-stop work has made me a bit cranky already lol. Plus the fact that i cant get to see Mr Dimples this weekend and not for another week really makes me upset and emo. Grr....stupid work and projects.
Seriously looking forward to meeting up with some of my friends, hopefully next thu/fri or even sat. Need to get out of the house and school and the sk/punggol area. Go exercise or shop or just chill !!!!
Yup something to look forward to i hope.

P.S. Mr Dimples- Jiayou dear, i know you are dying and feeling very tired these days. I know i cannot help much, but all i can do is to be here for u, to lend u a listening ear, like what you have been doing for me as well. This will be a very challenging period for us, with my overwhelming workload as well as ur upcoming exams. Let's jiayou together and the trip in june shall be our motivation!!!!!!!! Love you lots :P

Games Carnival was tiring but fun this morning!!!
Was in a pretty relaxed mood today because there was no lesson hahahaha. The kids were pretty excited too because they were making a lot of noise during assembly lol. Anyways, the whole carnival was pretty well-planned, with many activities going on at simultaneously at different areas of the school. I followed one of my class and ct to the hall as all the p4s were going to play floorball. It started off pretty well with my class winning all matches, but they got knocked out during the semis. Some of them were pretty upset, and some even cried. So my ct and i had to counsel some of them and make them feel better. I was also busy taking pictures wahahaha.
I also went down from the gallery to view the matches for my second class because the kids were also on a winning streak. Actually what made me happy was the fact that i could really get to interact with all of the kids and my cts today and have fun together. When the kids from different classes greeted me and kept coming up to me to tell me about their games, i was really very happy. Even the rascals from last yr also kept calling me lol so i also had to take pixs with them again. They can be so adorable sometimes wahaha. So i counted and i feel that i am so proud of all 120 of them ( 80 this yr + 40 last yr cuz they still remb me hehe). They showed great sportsmanship and they gave their best in all the games. Of cuz, hope they will continue to have this quality in other aspects of their lives lah haha. After the prize-giving ceremony, there was the farewell for the exchange students. It was also a very nice and sweet moment with the performances put up by both sides as well as the gift exchange time. By the time everything ended, i was famished! So me and elly quickly went to eat the food that was catered for us lol.Oh and i realised i took like 100+ photos just for this event! LOL! Super exhausted, but i had a super fun and enriching day! :P And our dear Mr Koh is finally a dad!! OMG i didnt know i was so zhun in the prediction oops haha CONGRATS!!!!!!!

Anyways, finally got to meet pig again yesterday! haha. This week has been a really really tough week, with me rushing all the work and ob stuff, as someone's nick had put 'forgotten the meaning of sleep'. Indeed when i come home everyday, i will try and nap if i can, but this week i had no time to sleep and eat at all. Whenever i tried to rest, i would be thinking about work. Thinking about what to plan and do the next few days, plan the schedule next week and think about the obs and assignment. Really brain drained.
Thankfully, seeing you has made me feel so much better. Thanks for being there for me too. And i realise that i really have to meet up with my girlies! If it's not possible, i hope to meet up with them after my pract because i miss them lots lots!!!

Crying out for help, because the work is really killing me. It's only monday and i'm damn shagged already. Doing and rushing work from home. Didnt manage to nap because i wanted to get things quickly done and over with. But apparently things are progressing slower than i had expected. Damn. Been telling myself it's 'Mind over body', but yah think i cannot hold on much longer. Shall try and finish up and sleep early tonight. Hate the fact that i am unable to start planning for my ob stuff on thu and there is still the dcs assignment to be done. ARG!!!

Finally got to take a break from work for the past few days! Thu evening met wn and kl for dinner and chill at Harry's. It's been such a long time since i stayed out late with the girls. Fui and putus let's organise one soon too!! Was so tired on Thu night due to the huge amount of stress and things that i had to do for work that i collapsed onto my bed after calling pig. Then Fri went shopping with pig and managed to buy some tops and a skirt. We had dinner at Carl's Junior before heading back to my place to pack stuff and go pig's place. Today came home to change and left for Pasir Ris park where my bro's bdae bbq celebration was held. The unfortunate thing was that it rained almost the entire day and only stopped till night time. So we slacked at White sands until my bro called to say the weather had turned better. When we arrived, we saw that they had built a makeshift tent over the pit, which i thought was a brilliant idea lol. The food was great haha yum yum. Pictures will be uploaded another time cuz i am damn tired now. It's such family gatherings that i truly enjoy the bonds that we shared. Something that my cousin said which got me thinking, " Your bro having holidays and you dun know? He seems to be like your cousin instead." Indeed after hearing what she said, i kind of reflected on myself. I had been too too busy these days with work that i had no time to even have a good chat with my family members until today. I really felt guilty about it. But then seriously i am dying from all the stress at work. Have been going on hyper mode for the past week, cannot stop to even relax a bit. Even during leisure time, i will be worrying about work. Because in this field, we have to keep planning ahead and keep in mind the schedule. Also, we have to constantly take note of how we present ourselves and the topics to the pupils for fear of making stupid mistakes or saying the wrong things. The constant pressure is indeed overwhelming. It's not like doing a project or studying for exams. It's about educating children. I'm so tight up with work that it's not easy to squeeze out time for anything at all. So i am trying if i can. There goes my social life. But what to do, work is more impt now. haix.
Just got back from pasir ris. Gonna do the weekly plan before gg to bed. Tml shall chiong as much as i can. Ahhhhhhhhhh

EXHAUSTED!!
Had rehearsals again this morning. Haha. It was very nice actually when i was watching from the back :)
Ended super late today. Tired and dehydrated. But felt that the workshop was pretty interesting haha. Everything went pretty all right today *happie*. Tml is my first observation! Hope everything will proceed smoothly. Learnt from what i had conducted today, so that i can avoid some mistakes and also improve on the instructional methods. Got to prepare all the materials for tml now...
Yay just one more day.... :)

This morning's lesson was interrupted by the rehearsal for the performance next week. So whole day was at my table. Very tiring. But i had fun with the other class later on. Though there were some last minute changes, i felt it was much better than yesterday. haha *happie*. After that me and my tutor went to source and set up appratus and equipment for tml's lesson. Quite interesting haha. Well there are many other changes this week, so got to be on the alert for any last minute stuff and got to be prepare for impromptu happenings. Tml will be my xiong day again, hope everything will turn out fine!
Looking forward to this weekend! Thu dinner and chilling with my girls, Fri ice-cream day, and sat stupid bro's birthday bbq~ Lalalala......... :)

Phew. Everything went quite all right for today. Finally can relax a little. Didnt start out well in the morning.. Murphy's Law was on me today. Firstly i was so nervous that i kept forgetting where i placed my stuff for school. Then i was late in meeting Mr koh and elly to go school. Just when i thought nothing else would go wrong, i realised i had forgotten to bring my cupboard keys and lappy charger. Ahh! What a scatter-brain, must be the nerves man. Fortunately, the first lesson was pretty all right, just that i had to take note of the time factor. The latter one was pretty unexpected cuz i ended lesson much earlier. It was my first time teaching a better class and indeed i had underestimated them. They could absorb much much faster and hence i realised that i have to prepare more activities for them for the next few lessons. After today, i have a better idea on what approach to use for teaching these two classes. Fortunately, everything went pretty smoothly and i hope that things will get better as i interact and acquaint myself more with the children.
Feeling very very tired now, but motivated to edit my LPs and work schedule. To all my colleagues, the week has just started, hang in there!!!!

Time for some updates!
Thanks Annabel for the lovely hammies! Super cutez! *loves* I have not given them names yet hehe and like wn, i had trouble differentiating their genders.
Went to cut hair with kl on thu. Was supposed to just cut, but then was tempted to perm again hehe. Anyways kl rebonded her hair! Nice! :)
Yesterday went Rakuzen for lunch. The food and service were excellent!! Haha. Then met dear at vivocity and randomly decided to go Sentosa! Woooooooo~ Miss the sun, sand and beach!! Headed back to vivo for dinner and watch our movie 'Step up2'. oh there was some cosplay event there as well haha and we kay-pohed a bit :P
Happy 90 days to us! And like u said, many many more to come :P
Driving today was all right. Luckily i could still remb some stuff, cuz i haven been learning for a month now (I know i know, i am slow k haix). Anyways the instructor that i had was very nice and patient. I made quite a few mistakes but he was really nice to explain and teach me slowly. haha. Shall fix the dates as soon as possible and hopefully from now on can be more consistent in learning.
Oh went to Alicia's 21st party last night with my ex-colleagues gy,amanda and agnes. Was very happy to see them. It's like we only meet once every half yearly or even just a few times a year, but we are still quite close and comfortable with one another. It's a nice feeling :)

Had a great time yesterday!
Went to the IT show at suntec with dear. It was the first time that i went, and i needed to buy some gadgets for school as well as my personal use. So i asked my pig to go with me to help me source around for these stuff. When we reached cityhall, we could already see the people thronging towards suntec and people carrying huge bags and boxes of things.
We checked out a few halls before heading to the top most level where the things i want were being sold at. It was pretty difficult to navigate our way around with so many people jostling with one another. There were also families with kids, prams, maids and old folks around. I just cant help but wonder why they would want to bring the kids and old folks there to squeeze with people. It will be so much more convenient for them to just grab and go the things that they want by themselves. The concern here is of course for the safety of the children and elderly.
After checking out almost the entire place, we managed to find what i wanted. haha. So i bought an optical mouse, a wireless presenter and a new laptop bag. Whee!!!! All these cost a bomb man, but then i am gg to make claims for them hehehe.
After that, we went to have dinner at Marina sq the hotpot culture restaurant.
Then we went to walk around esplanade area. There were some music performances because of the music fest and we went to watch, indoors as well as outdoors. The ambience was very nice and we felt very relaxed.
Then we had loads of fun cam-whoring when we sat down somewhere. Super funny pixs that we took, didnt know that my pig can bu gu xing xiang haha kawaii desu ne~
Finally the holidays are here! Unfortunately, the hols will be spent pia-ing and planning as much lessons as i can. Really need to work on them asap so that when the 2nd term starts, i will be able to deliver well and reduce the overwhelming workload that we are given.
This morning had a talk with both my classes. Finally got to formally introduce myself to them and state what my expectations of them are. Was a little nervous initially as i haven done that for quite some time, but after a while i felt more comfortable.
Anyways, was really overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that we had to do and cover. I brought back all the resources and books, super heavy! After school elly and i went to meet kj for lunch at PP again. It was nice to share and listen to what we have been doing these 2 weeks. I find that we can all learn from one another and perhaps improve on our own actions and methods of teaching. These moments are always enjoyable. So i hope next week can also get together with the others~ Support is indeed very very important. I hope all of my frenz can get to rest well this hols before continuing the battle. It IS very very tough and stressful but let's endure and overcome whatever that comes our way!! JIAYOU! :)

Lots of unexpected events occurred yesterday in class. 2 girls were called outside to talk with my tutor, 1 injury case and 1 incident of a boy crying. Helped my tutor facilitate the class while she counseled the 2 girls. After that brought the kids to comp lab to do their presentations.
Didnt get to take my nap because the meeting and workshop ended late. But there was something that the speaker said that had an impact on me.
"Teach children, not subjects" :)
Came home and realised that my dad forgot to pay bills and cable plus net were cut off again!. Super pissed. Good thing was that my pig came for dinner and i felt better after that~ wahaha. He was lucky cuz got durian ice cream and shark's fin soup, which my aunt cooked. Yum. After that was searching online for the possbile dates and price for our tour. In the morning i managed to call up the school to check our schedule after our attachment. At least got a better idea of what i will be doing after that and not feel so uncertain about the future. Hope to settle this by tml haha.
Today the classes had presentations. Could really see the differenc between high and mixed ability classes. In the afternn even crash another class to watch their presentations haha. It was those little rascals from last yr haha. I requested to go watch cuz i missed them so much. I was so happy to see them and they too when they saw me. :P
After school, came home and changed and then went for my dental appoinment. Super expensive!! Really gg to have money woes soon! Seriously lots of things need money. I guess i just have to prioritise. Cuz i need to save for the trip too. Gotta give extra thought now when parting with my money.
Going to be very busy next week too, with work and also meet ups. But more with work lah. Despite it being a tough job, i find myself liking it more and more. I dun regret my choice for choosing this career and i am very happy in coming this far. Master khor was right, i know my goals in life and will work hard to acheive them. Wahahaha....Now i shall focus on improving and learning as much as i can so that i can apply all these skills in the future...

Work.Nap.Plan.
This has become a daily routine. Started on the planning part liao, but then very slow progress. But today i could feel the mood again. Shall try and chiong as many LPs as i can lah. Some more next week holidays i can really focus on writing and planning my stuff. Almost all my frenz have started teaching already and we have not. Ahh..stress...
And the fact that i am missing someone badly isnt helping. Wun be free already once the holidays end. But then everyone is busy with work as well. Maybe this weekend will be spent on work as well? Sianz.

Went natas fair at expo with dear this evening. Very sudden meet up lol. Wanted to check out any good promos for short getaways to nearby islands cuz we planning a trip soon. Damn exciting!!! The place was super packed! But then i think we managed to get some ideas about the different destinations and pricing. This makes our planning much easier. After that went airport for dinner!! All the more we feel like travelling hahaha.
Fri went to meet up with my girls for dinner. CLARICE I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was really surprised by the news but then at the same time i felt so elated. I think everything will work out just fine and i think you should not worry about it so much. Take things as they come yah? The club has officially closed down now..hehehe....
Spent the weekends with my pig. Had a fantastic time. I think i am getting more and more used to a lot of things now. I felt really really happy. And we explored a new place too hahaha. Sembawang beach! Didnt know its existance until last night. And it was damn packed ok!! Interesting place wahaha.
