One week is over! Time passes so fast! Well seems like i have done a lot for this past week haha. Also took a lot of photos so here are the updates!!

I'm back!!! Haha Had a fantastic time in Phuket!!! It is really a Paradise Island, took many pictures of the beautiful scenery and us haha. Time for some updates on the trip :)
DAY 1
Met dear in the morning at T1 to have breakfast before checking in. While waiting to board the plane, we went around the airport to take pictures haha.
Saw the massage chairs along our way to our boarding gate, so we decided to try them haha.
Then it was on board Flight FD 3525 to Phuket! Lovely view from the top. And the view when reaching Phuket is simply breath-taking as well. :)
Finally, we arrived at Phuket International Airport! Took a cab to our hotel from the airport because it is faster than taking the minibus. Taking the cab was sooo expensive because our hotel is located at the southern most part of phuket and is further away from the airport as compared to other beaches.
About an hour later, we arrived at Kata Beach and our 4-star hotel, Andaman Cannacia Resort and Spa. We were simply blown away by the design of the hotel. It was better than what we had expected! Even the service is wonderful! Our room was huge!!! And the bed was enormous!! lol. LOVE THE PLACE SO MUCH!
The hotel is located on a steep hill overlooking kata beach. The scenery was simply amazing and breath-taking.
After checking out our hotel, we walked down the 'Killer Slope' and headed down to explore Kata Beach. The beach was very clean and beautiful. The sand was so soft and the water so clear. It was great! Because we came during the low season, there were fewer people at the beach. The Caucasians formed the majority. I think we were the only asians around other than the local people!
In the evening, we headed back to our hotel to book the tour for snorkelling for the second day. It was quite pricey, but everything was provided for us, so we decided to take it up. After that, we headed down to kata area to explore the place and also to find a nice place to have dinner. We walked for a long long time and for quite a long distance, before dear spotted a nice place Kampong Kata Hill Restaurant. It was located on a hill and had a very traditional feel to it, hence we decided to go try. The food was great!! The original Tom Yum soup was superb! :P
After dinner, we continued walking north, almost reaching Karon beach area. It was then that we realised that we had walked quite a long distance from our hotel!! As it was still early we decided to chill out at this Ban Yan seafood where there was a live band playing. I ordered a cocktail Phuket Sunset and dear ordered Chang Beer. :P
Then we decided to take Tuk Tuk back to the hotel. I hate the cab and tuk-tuk drivers over there!!! They were so arrogant and charge damn expensive!! Cannot bargain with them too!Shall not blog about unhappy stuff, just ask me if u wana know about our encounters with them. I can only say the culture is really different from Bangkok.
DAY 2
We woke up early to have breakfast and got ready for our snorkelling tour. The van came and picked us up at the hotel before going to karon area to pick up other passengers. Next, we headed down to the Royal Phuket Marina at Patong to take our speedboat to the other islands. As usual we were the only asians on board the whole speedboat. There was a family with 3 boys and they were very cute haha. We secretly snapped a photo of them wahaha.
We departed from the pier and headed to Phi Phi Island. The first stop was at Phi Phi Lay and we were allowed to explore the area of Maya Bay. Everything was just beautiful!! Beautiful waters, beautiful sand and rocks. Then we also went to discover Pileh Cove and Viking Cave as well.
We also went to Monkey Beach at Phi Phi Don to feed some monkeys before snorkelling at the deep sea. It was truly an experience!
Next, we had lunch at a beach side restaurant at Phi Phi Don.
The last stop was at Khai Nok Island. We had free time to ourselves and we continued snorkelling and feeding the fishes there. It was fun fun fun!!
It was a fun day at kata beach! We went to play jet ski in the morning! IT WAS AWESOME!! We took turns to ride the jet ski and even went all the way to karon beach! Hahaha. It was pricey but definitely worth it and i'm so glad we tried!! It was exciting and thrilling. What an experience! After that played at the beach and sea. There were also quite a few people surfing. It was amazing and relaxing.
We went back to swim at the hotel and also relaxed in the jacuzzi. After that, we took turns to go for the Santi Thai Massage provided by the hotel. It was really relaxing. In the evening, we decided to take cab down to Patong area to have seafood. This was because the previous day, our van had past by rows of seafood restaurants and we managed to recognise some names of buildings and roads. We decided to go explore Patong on the last night at Phuket. It was definitely more crowded and commercialised as compared to Kata. More activities were going on over there. Kata was more quiet and peaceful as it is smaller compred to Patong. As soon as we got out of our cab, we were grabbed by this man who brought us to his seafood restaurant. We took a look at a few resturants before walking down the rows and randomly selected one. Competition was so intense that we were grabbed by every staff of the various restaurants. In the end we selected one that seemed good and there were more customers there. And indeed we didnt regret our choice. The food was fantastic and cheap!! We ordered seafood, lobster, stingray,squid and prawns plus coconut drinks. All less than SGD 75 bucks! The lady who served us was very kind enough to give us very good price for every seafood that we chose wahahaha. YUM!!
Then we went to Jungceylon shopping area to walk walk and see see before heading back to our hotel :P
DAY 4
It was time to leave phuket! Super reluctant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to extend the trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Life there is so simple and relaxing. But then no choice so bye bye Phuket! I will definitely be back!!!
Overall the trip was way way beyond my expectation. I truly enjoyed myself there and i think dear also felt the same way. Every thing (except the drivers) was fabulous. It was an enriching experience and i got to do things i never got to do or see in Sg. I love Phuket!
Anybody wana go other islands next time? haha :P
